Berlin Koi Platy

The Berlin Koi Platy is a colorful livebearer with a bright red-orange body marked by irregular black splashes, so no two fish look exactly alike.

Peaceful, hardy, and easy to care for, Berlin Koi Platies are one of the most beginner-friendly fish you can keep. Their bold color makes them a cheerful addition to planted tanks, community aquariums, and breeding setups.

Berlin Koi Platies do well in groups and can be kept with other peaceful community fish. When keeping males and females together, a ratio of approximately 1 male to 2–3 females is recommended to help reduce stress on the females.

For healthy growth and vibrant coloration, provide a varied diet of quality flakes or pellets supplemented with foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and vegetable-based or spirulina foods.
